The Experience

Meoto-Rocks

Geologically speaking, this rock is called the Nomo Area's Hetero-Hanrei Rock Complex. That is said to be 400 million years older than the dinosaurs recently excavated in the Nomo Zaki area. Many visitors come to capture the Meoto-Rocks and Gunkanjima in a single photograph.

Nagasaki City Dinosaur Museum

The museum exhibits a wide variety of approximately 180 specimens, with a theme of dinosaurs from Nagasaki City that cannot be found anywhere else, including the first fossil of a large species of Tyrannosauridae discovered in Japan.The museum makes the most of the unique story of the period from the Coal-Produced Age to the present day in Nagasaki City.

Gunkanjima Museum

Gunkanjima museum is located in Nomo town, overlooking Hashima Island (a.k.a. Gunkanjima), a coal mining island recognized as a World Heritage Site. The museum tells the story of the significant contribution to the modernization of Japan.

Megami-Ohashi Bridge

There is a long land distance between the south and west of Nagasaki by the Port of Nagasaki. The Megami Ohashi Bridge spanned that in the shortest in 2005. This bridge is a pay road except for pedestrians.
